Heard on the Red Line today, about 5 p.m., going north, between Fullerton and Wilson. A cell phone conversation by a 30ish woman:

"Hello. I was in school when you called earlier. I’m on the train now.

"So is it two bedrooms? Yes, God is good …. God is good.

"Now, do I get that program for low-income or do I pay regular rent? Great.

"Yes, I am excited (she said flatly)….

"Yeah, the guy got shot yesterday…. They been looking at that flyer, right? … Yeah, well I’m coming to that meeting on Saturday….

"No no… God … God is for real….
