Mixed-up conductor greetings

On the ride home last night, I got a train with the soft-spoken conductor who sends out greetings at the major stops. He's not on the level of the "Love Train" conductor, but he's amusing.

At Belmont last night he said: "Happy St. Patrick's Day. May the Force be with you."

Talk about mixed metaphors!

Mixed messages from the CTA? Huh. Who'd have guessed?

Answer: everyone who lives on the Brown line.

hey. i think there's a strong possibility that Ben Kenobi was Irish.

If this blog becomes well-known enough I wonder if conductors will try to develop a style so they can be mentioned with their own nicknames.

There used to be a conductor (back when we had them instead of The Voice) on the Brown Line who would call out the Blue Line stops. I miss him.
