RedEye tug-o-war
Since the Tribune is giving away the RedEye again at nearly every El station, they're as common on the El as a June bugs in July.
That's why I was surprised and somewhat touched to see a young couple reading the RedEye together the other. Yes, he held one end, she the other.
Still it made me wonder who won when she wanted to read Casual Sex and he wanted to read Whizzer.
The Red Eye is great. Perfect format, good writing, nice mix of material, and adequate coverage of important news. They try a little too hard to be trendy but overall a good rag.
