Skull massage
A 30-ish man leans against the wall to the Hobo Corner, looking obviously tired.
Suddenly he begins frenetically rubbing the bone under his eye. I timed him; he massaged that bone for three minutes. Stopped. Then went back at it again. Three more minutes.
Then he tilted his head all the way back and fell asleep.
Kevin,
Do we need to worry about your timing people now? I think you need to drive to work for a week, get some perspective. :-)

Please don't drive your car, Kevin! I might just curl up & die if I didn't get my daily blurbits of life in El-land!

Kimberli, it's all in the job of a good, astute reporter -- timing people.
And don't worry Christine, I won't be driving to work anytime soon. Too expensive to park!

I miss the "L". Since I started riding my bike I feel like I'm missing on a lot of stuff.
Although... I could start a blog on all the experiences I've had while riding my bike from UIC all the way north to Roger's Park.
