Good vibes recovered from roof
It’s gone.
The bright red dildo/vibrator that laughed at us (and we laughed at) from the roof of a building at the juncture of the Red and Brown lines has been retrieved.
I’m not sure why or by whom, though I strongly suspect the tenants whose balcony abuts the roof of the building watched over by Hubert the Harris Bank lion.
But please assure me it’s in a landfill somewhere and not in a bedside drawer.
I mourn the loss of that vibrator. It's been gone for weeks now. I loved watching people see it for the first time. Oh, pink vibrator, where art thou?

A few years ago there was once a pink rubber dildo out in front of the Rogers Park police station. It disappeared after a couple of hours. I always wondered who took it and why.

When will the CTA be audited. They are the most corrupt entity in city history. They have cheated tax payers by crying "poor" to Springefield. A matter of fact, Chicago media is missing one of their biggest story ever, by not investigating this mob controlled private bussiness who claims they are a public utility. Go to Wilson and Broadway anytime of day and there are "dealers" selling discounted CTA passes out of duffle bags. This has been going on for years. Who is the supplier? High ranking CTA official, who run this little side business while they cry poor, close stations, and hike fairs. Never has their been so many on the take since Las Vegas in the 50's. Who has the courage to investigate this? Please step foward nad expose these gansters once and for all.

There's an "asundries" shop on the corner of Belmont and Clark. Without knowing much, I bet that's where the dildos are coming from.

Perhaps one of your readers will toss another object up there for us to spot, Kevin! Not that I encourage that kind of behavior. ;o)

Come on guys, this is the Red Line we're talking about here...one of the regular train creeps eyeballed it, took it home, made little shorts for it out of old banana peels, and is now reading "War and Peace" to it, with AM radio on full blast.

Er, I still see it -- and this morning I wondered if it might have been joined by a new one. Perhaps the pink one was blown around in the wind and landed behind something for a bit, but it was certainly there today.
Or someone who missed it contributed a new one.

I ride the redline daily and I have not seen the thing or any other sex toys on top of that building for at least a month now. It's definetly gone..just a bunch of broken beer bottles up there now!

Well, there's *something* pink, narrow, and cylindrical still up there, roughly in the center, and this morning I saw something similar but white over toward the far left corner (as viewed from a southbound Red Line car) too.

You are right! I saw it this morning. I wonder if it's a vibe too? But it's definetly not the extra large, glaring pink one that was up there.

Yes, I saw it Thursday! This one is red and not as, um...*large* as the hot pink vibe.
For a split second I thought maybe the hot pink pal had never left, but this is definitely a new addition.

I am here to ask you folks to please PUT MORE DILDOS UP THERE. I am currently heading out the door to throw a large purple dildo up there. See it and know that I did that. KTHXBYE
