Hot guy, dumb as a bag of rocks
Overheard on Red Line north, three college-age women from Northwestern University:
"There was this really hot guy in my Econ class who was just dumb. Just plain dumb."
"So did he ask you out?"
"Are you kidding? He was just nice to look at. Really hot."
"Yeah, well, there was this really cute football player in my Bio class. Except he would grunt his answers and he thought he was God's gift to women. He was fine, just as long as he didn't open his mouth."
...but he was STILL accepted to Northwestern... can't be THAT dumb...

Surely you don't equate admission status with intelligence?? Quite a few "stupid" people get admitted to even Ivy League universities.

I hate it when people talk about me behind my back.

As an NU student, I have to say that there are definately students who got in for reasons other than intellegence, (and, hoping to sound not too stereotypical here) many of whom are in fact varsity athletes.

Heck, he may not even have actually been dumb...it's not like it pays off socially (usually) to be a guy and show you're smart.

Actually Will I think more than a few ladies would disagree with you. I get completely turned off by a good looking guy if he's dumb...or immature. I'd take an average looking smart guy over a super hot dumb one any day!!

NWU has plenty of legacy students. Remember ... Gee Dubya went to Yale and Harvard Business School. He is a classic example of affirmative action for people born on third who act like they hit a triple.

Well, LadyDay, now that Will said something a little stupid, is he attractive or unattractive?

(bowing down to LadyDay)--Why would a woman want a dumb man? If we have to take care of little babies, why should we have to also have to take care of grown babies?
