The black-shrouded lady

A 50ish woman sits sleeping on the Red Line going north on Friday night rush hour.

Her head and face are completely covered by a black scarf. The stark evening sun of fall was shining brightly on her wrinkled face.

If I didn't know better I might have thought she was dead. Just a little odd.

Comments

I saw a guy once I thought was dead on the train. I poked him with my finger, he woke up and scared the crap out of me. He wasn't happy either.

I think I've seen her before on the blue line. But it was a purple thing covering her head. She would move it away every 5 min or so.

That's hysterical, Cheryl!
