Cartin' the gumball machine

Gumball_machine_1 File this under "strange things people carry on the CTA."

A plumpish man in his mid-20s with a goatee holds a gumball machine, tucked like a football under his right arm. He exits at Sheridan on the northbound Red Line.

What other strange things have you seen people carrying on the CTA? I was intrigued by the guy with the automobile tire.

Not so much weird as it is scary...guy was carrying a saw blade wrapped in a towel. He sat by me and unwrapped it and was admiring it like it was a piece of gold...he had this super crazy look in his eyes so I moved to the other end of the train...quickly.

Only other weird thing I've seen is a guy carrying an enormous jar of pickled pigs feet....YUCK!

Ironing board, cats (in carriers, but still), five foot long rain sticks, an adult sized Mr. Peanut costume, I almost forgot about the snake, which was not in a carrier.

Hi LadyDay....haven't seen you in a while! The only wierd thing that I remember seeing were a group of people rolling blunts in the middle of a crowded train. I filed that under "the usual crazy stuff" along with condoms, feminine products, used tissues and vomit.

Hey cmama!yeah I took my first vacation in years so I've been away.

If we are counting weird stuff left behind on the train I've seen A LOT...including used tampons...how the hell does THAT end up on the floor of the train?

Hey CTA Tattler!
