New CTA security?

How about adding a camera to each car of the train, connected to a small monitor for the engineer and a hard disk to review footage later? The engineer would have a much better sense of what is going on in certain cars that way.

That would not work. They have cameras on all of the buses and they dont use them. Period. I dont even know if they tape it, but i've never heard of anyone looking at anything from the cameras to catch any crimes or vandalism on the CTA. And there's a lot of it.
