Sox fan Carole Brown disses Cubs

One of the lighter moments of Friday's emergency CTA board meeting came when Board Chairwoman Carole Brown questioned CTA brass about additional three-tracking plans for special events, "like the Sox home opener on Monday," Brown said. "I don't know when the Cubs home opener is and I don't care."

Still more reasons to love Carole!

Also, more news for all you Sox fans out there: The reconstruction of the Sox-35th station is done, complete with the new entrance on 33rd Street. That makes it easier to get to and from Jimbo's before and after the game. And yes, Jimbo's is still open.
