Deodorant girl
We're on the Red Line coming home from yet another White Sox loss. A 25-year old Trixie boards at Addison.
She proceeds to apply makeup during the entire ride. That's really not so unusual. I've seen many like her apply makeup before.
But never have I seen a woman pull out a stick of deodorant.
She pulls down her black short sleeve, shoves the stick in and applies liberally.
Nice.
Freaky, but definitely better than the people who clip their nails on the train. Yuck.

well, it has been hot lately...at least she wasn't smelly.

Hahahahaha. I would have been hard pressed not to react to that one. I hope it was a clear deodorant, with a black shirt...
I'm personally always amazed by the women who apply makeup on transit. Sometimes I find it hard to stay focused on the single line of text as I'm trying to read a book, due to the bouncing and jostling. And she's putting on waterproof mascara? That takes guts!

She needed it. She *really* needed it.

I don't know. Does that beat watching a guy clip his toenails on the train?

There are worse things. Far worse. For instance, it seems that almost every trip I take on the CTA I see at least one dude picking his nose and more often than not, eating it. And it is always a dude for some reason, never a female.
Don't people know that eating boogers in public is just not okay?

I didn't know eating boogers was ever OK, or... well, normal?
yet again, here we go again with the 'trixie' and 'chad' designations. you know you're acting just as elitist as them by trying to put them down with those words?

Why are all these comments about trixies? Are there black or asian trixies? How did you know she was 25? Don't hipsters on the blue line ever do anything annoying?

Hipsters on the Blue Line do PLENTY of annoying things, trust me.
