A few words about comments on CTA Tattler
I don't moderate comments here on CTA Tattler.
I don't have the time nor the inclination. More importantly, I like the free flow of ideas and opinions you folks share here, and don't want to stifle that.
However, there are occasions where some commenters push the envelope. Recently in comments, there have been near threats of violence between commenters, and some puerile name-calling.
I don't like that. The objects of same don't like that. Please stop.
Nuff said. Thanks for reading and for the good ideas and discussions we have here.
I've thought for a while now that the site would be much improved if commenters had to register. Having a stable identity tends to make people more responsible and civil. Not always, but it beats allowing driveby mouth flapping.

Have you not heard???
CTA employees have to go for new interviews to keep their old jobs. Saddest thing ever working all day, going in for your interview then not getting hired. Is there a better way to lose moral in the office??

Thanks - I was very shocked that one of your readers wrote that he'd have "smacked" me after reading one of my comments about a nasty bus driver and disagreed with my experience and my reaction. I agree, it's very puerile and makes me not want to contribute my opinions.
