I was under the impression that O'Hare to Jeff Park slow zone elimination was completed. Is the current work necessary because of the flooding and fire in September?

Looks like they're finally going to work on that slow zone south of the Irving Park Brown Line.
The slow zone map shows little slow zones near all the stations from Jefferson Park to Rosemont. I believe they said there was some special equipment or supplies they needed for those areas, so that might be what's going on now. I do wonder about the area between Rosemont and O'Hare, though, since that alert has been up for close to two months at this point.
I don't know why I pay so much attention to this stuff -- I always fly out of Midway.
